Nordic Poetry Today: Workshop and Reading

How can poetry help us to question and challenge a world in crisis? How are Nordic poets confronting the unique problems of the region? Join four of the leading Nordic poets on Thursday, 5th March at ABF Huset, Stockholm, for two events that offer close engagements with the politics and power of poetry today. Amina Elmi, Judith Kiros, Olli-Pekka Tennilä and Max Alletzhauser will run a workshop and a poetry reading with Q&A.

15-17, Värmland classroom, ABF Huset, 5th floor: Workshop for exploring the impact and possibilities of Nordic poetry today. Run by the four poets. No experience of poetry necessary – the workshop is open to everyone.

18-20, Sandlersalen, ABF Huset, 1st floor: Reading and Q&A. Poetry readings by Amina Elmi, Judith Kiros, Olli-Pekka Tennilä and Max Alltezhauser, in conversation with Elliot C. Mason.

The events are free, open to everyone, and take place in English. Max. 30 participants in the workshop. No registration is required – both events are first come, first served.
